Strategy, brand, and copy for a school launch

Strategy, brand, and every word of a private school's launch

A private Christian school in Meridian, Idaho was launching with a new name and needed everything at once. We led the strategy, built the brand, wrote every page with school leadership, designed and built the WordPress site, connected it to FACTS, and handed it to their team.

Day 1

Complete digital infrastructure in place before school opened

100%

All website content written from scratch with school leadership

1 Year

Trained their IT team and transferred full ownership cleanly

Launching a school means building everything at once.

Calvary Meridian Prep was launching with new branding and needed complete digital infrastructure before the doors opened. Brand identity, website, all content written from scratch, FACTS Student Information System integration, enrollment forms, staff bios, careers section, transcript request forms, parent resources, and training for the school's IT team to manage it all after handoff. The goal was to open ready to operate.

Everything in place before day one.

Strategy, Brand Identity, and the Website

Started with strategy, working out who the school was for, what families needed to hear, and how it should present itself as a new school. Built the brand identity from scratch, including logo, colors, typography, and visual style. Then designed and built the full website on WordPress covering academic programs, mission and values, enrollment information, staff bios, careers with open positions, transcript request forms, and parent resources. All content written from scratch working directly with school leadership.

FACTS Integration and Operational Forms

Connected the website to their FACTS Student Information System so enrollment information, calendars, and updates flowed in without manual entry, and built forms for transcript requests, enrollment inquiries, and staff applications, so families saw accurate information and staff weren't copying data between systems.

Training and Clean Handoff

Trained the school's IT team to manage content, update staff bios, post open positions, and handle the day-to-day site operations themselves. Documented everything. After running the site together for a year, we handed it off completely, and the school's own team has managed it since.

What it's built on.

The platforms behind this project, and why each one was the right fit for Calvary Meridian Prep Academy.

WordPress

Chosen so the school's own staff could manage the site after handoff in an editor they already knew, with the design, strategy, and every page of copy done by us.

FACTS Student Information System

The system the school already ran on. Connecting the website to it meant enrollment and calendar information came from one source instead of two.
