Websites and lead systems for home service businesses

Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, landscaping, pest control. Different trades, same problem. The work happens across a whole region and the website only competes in one town.

See Where You Are Missing Pages

Most home service websites are built the same way.

Across trades the pattern is the same, a handful of service pages, one page listing the towns you cover, and a contact form. That structure competes for one town and one general search, and it gives away everything else to whoever bothered to build a page for it. In most markets the dominant company isn't winning on brand. They're running a page for each service in each town, because a homeowner with a burst pipe or a dead furnace searches for their town, not for a company.

  • One service area page covering a region instead of pages built for each town
  • Services bundled together instead of each having a page that can rank
  • No online booking, so every job requires a phone call to schedule
  • Reviews sitting on Google and never appearing on the site
  • Seasonal demand arriving before the pages that would capture it exist

A page for each service, in each town.

Water heater replacement in one town and furnace repair in the next are different searches with different results pages. The page that wins is the one built for that combination, and what makes it worth ranking is local fact rather than the same paragraph with the town swapped. For plumbing that means municipal water or private well, sewer or septic, aquifer hardness, and the age of the pipe in the ground. For heating and cooling it means climate zone and design temperature, the fuel most homes there burn, and whether the housing stock is ducted or ductless. For electrical it means what panels are in those homes, the utility and its interconnection rules, and whether the area is seeing EV and solar growth or generator demand from outage history.

What we build

  • Plumbing
  • Plumbing in Coeur d'Alene
  • Plumbing in Post Falls
  • Plumbing in Hayden
  • Heating and Cooling in Coeur d'Alene
  • Heating and Cooling in Post Falls
  • Electrical in Rathdrum
  • And so on: 6 services in 12 towns is 72 pages, each one answering a different search.

What we build.

Coverage gets you into the search. Booking, proof, and speed decide whether the job gets scheduled, and most home service sites lose on those three before search ever becomes the problem.

Start with the market

Your site against the companies taking the jobs you want. Which service and town combinations they cover, how deep those pages go, where your speed and tracking are costing you. Written down before anyone proposes a build.

Build the coverage

A page for each service in each town you serve, built from real local information rather than copied with the town name swapped, and checked so no page goes live with details missing.

Let them book without calling

Online scheduling for the work that can be scheduled, and instant estimates for the work that can be estimated. A homeowner comparing three companies at nine at night books the one that lets them, and calls nobody.

Route the leads

Form leads sent into the software your office already uses rather than an inbox. Your reviews shown on the pages. Old links redirected at launch so ads and search results never land on a dead page.

Keep it running

New towns, new services, and seasonal campaign pages added month to month on a fixed plan. Hosting, security, accessibility, and privacy compliance handled.

What changes.

  • You compete in every town you already send crews to
  • Each service has a page that can be found and shared
  • Jobs get booked without a phone call
  • Your reviews shown on your own pages
  • Seasonal work has pages ready before the season starts

Questions we get asked.

Our business doesn't look like the examples on this page.

The trade changes the details, not the structure. Home service work is won town by town and service by service, and a single service area page trying to cover a region rarely competes. Tell us your trade and we'll tell you honestly whether this fits.

Do we need online booking?

It depends on whether the work can be priced and scheduled without a site visit. Recurring and standardized work benefits enormously. Work that needs an estimate first is better served by a fast quote request that routes to a real person quickly.

How many towns should we publish pages for?

The ones you genuinely serve and can say something true about. Publishing thin pages for towns you barely reach is how a site gets treated as spam, so a smaller and honest set beats a large one every time.

Do you do the marketing too?

Yes. Google Ads, SEO, and your Google Business Profile are part of our [marketing work](/services/marketing/), planned alongside the site so the ads land on pages built for them. If you already have a marketing partner, we work with them instead.

Then somebody keeps it running.

Hosting, domain, email, monitoring, updates, and the changes you need through the year all handled on a monthly plan. It's the reason our clients stay for years rather than calling us again when the next thing breaks.

See Managed Systems

You already serve the whole region. The website should say so where it counts.

See which towns you have no page for.

Tell us your trade and the towns you serve. We'll run your site against the companies winning those searches and send back a written report showing which service and town combinations you have no page for, how your coverage compares, and what closing the gap would take. No cost and no obligation.

We follow up within one business day.
